Easy to Fabricate;
Elite 63 has design features that simplify fabrication and
reduce manufacturing time. The curves on the shaped version
have been designed to produce clean mechanical joints,
reducing the need for de-burring. Drainage paths are
positioned so that drainage slots can be routed for
internally/externally glazed windows without the need to
re-set machinery.
2) Co-extruded Gaskets;
Profiles and beads are manufactured with co-extruded gasket,
eradicating the need to roll in gaskets after fabrication. This
saves time & reduces stock holding. With no need for messy
lubricants, fabrication and installation are also cleaner. End
users benefit from the elimination of corner gaps and shrink
back.

3) Single Leg ‘knock-in’
Bead;
Elite 63’s ‘knock-in’ beads provide a much
cleaner glazing platform and speed installation for both
external and internal glazed windows. 24mm
and 28mm
beads easily accommodate the variations in thickness commonly
found in glass.
4) Reinforcements;
Both aluminium & steel reinforcements are available & the
profiles have been designed so that reinforcement can be
inserted quick and easily.
5) Location Lugs;
Elite 63 has been designed with special location lugs to ensure
reinforcement is held well away from ‘V notch’ welds that might
otherwise impede the insertion of reinforcement.
6) Multi-Chamber Profile;
The multi-chamber Elite 63 anticipates changes to Building
Regulations that will call for greater thermal efficiency. A
multi-chamber design increases thermal insulation by reducing
‘cold bridging’.
